The Areia team came together recently to arrange a mashup/mix of F(x)’s “Rum Pum Pum Pum.” It’s a chill tech house track that might be juxtaposed well with Areia’s other house remix of Kim Sori’s “Dual Life.” To our knowledge, this is the only remix of F(x)’s “Rum Pum Pum Pum” at the time of this post’s publication.
Sometimes it’s two songs that DO NOT belong together that make a really cool mashup. Maybe it’s just that DJ G Sweet has a twisted sense of dichotomy, but we’re really enjoying his Mashup between sweet and innocent Secret and 90’s thuggish Insane Clown Posse.
Okay. We like to think that we’re patient as DJs and Kpop enthusiasts. But, ‘yo, real talk: we need our kpop remixes. Kpop remixers, we know you’re listening and reading this so consider this our formal plea for three kpop remixes that need to happen.
Wub wub. There’s something playful behind i5cream’s sounds that we can’t ignore. Maybe it’s his online persona that influences our reception of his work. In either case, The SONE-producer is a remixer we’d like to highlight for his quirky wobbles and consistently solid kpop productions.
DJ Masa and SHIMMixes recently unveiled their 2013 megamix. It’s a nice piece of work to close your sets on. Be sure to pimp out the DJ Masa and SHIMMixes names when you drop it though, the duo deserve a lot of credit of this work. Unfortunately, for the DJs who want to take sections of the medley into their mix, the the song isn’t a constant tempo throughout to be ready to adjust that pitch as you’re beatmatching.
